Pumping station WarmtelinQ Delft

WarmtelinQ

At Kamplacon we are proud to be working on the realisation of the pumping station in Delft, which has an important function within WarmtelinQ. WarmtelinQ is a hot water pipe, constructed by Gasunie, for the transport of released (residual) heat from the port of Rotterdam. The pumping station contains six transport pipes that distribute the heat to The Hague and Leiden. This will enable 120,000 homes and businesses in South Holland to be heated sustainably.

Our work

In collaboration with our sister company Kampstaal, we are building the new pumping station in Delft, which is part of the sustainability project. For the construction of the pumping station, we supplied and installed approximately 2,000m² of insulated wall constructions. The entire wall construction consists of multiple layers that are built up from the inside out. This includes the inner and outer plate, the insulation material and the water-resistant foil. We installed the roof covering and roof constructions on various substrates, including steel roof and concrete slab. This involves approximately 700m² of roof plating and roof covering. This also includes the installation of the roof edge, water hammer, drip sill and U-profiles. We also supplied and installed the facades, glass curtain walls and steel doors.
