For the construction of the Parijsch Parking Garage in Culemborg, TruSteel Construction is contributing to the development of an above-ground parking garage with 166 parking spaces. By supplying and installing the steel structure, concrete components and façade cladding, we are helping to provide a functional parking solution for the neighbourhood.
Providing space for the neighbourhood
Located in the Parijsch neighbourhood of Culemborg, the above-ground Parijsch Parking Garage meets the area's parking needs. With space for 166 cars, the garage helps alleviate parking pressure in the neighbourhood. The combination of a functional parking solution and green façades gives the building a distinctive appearance.
This electric crane is used to install the heavy concrete elements without local exhaust emissions.
A structure designed with functionality in mind
For the Parijsch Parking Garage, we are responsible for supplying and installing the primary load-bearing structure, including end plates, base plates, dowels and the entrance beam at ground-floor level. We are also constructing two steel stairwells, including handrails and the installation of the stair treads. The steel components are hot-dip galvanised to protect them against corrosion.
Façade cladding and emission-free construction
In addition to the steel structure, we are providing the cladding for the stairwells and the supporting framework for the green façades. These elements contribute to both the functional finishing and the overall appearance of the parking garage.
A notable aspect of the project is the emission-free installation of the TT floor elements. For this work, M. Heezen deployed the fully electric Sany Electric SCE 1000A-EV, a crawler telescopic crane with a lifting capacity of 100 tonnes. This electric crane enables the heavy concrete elements to be installed without local exhaust emissions.
