In collaboration with Almacon B.V., we produced 3,200 IPE220 steel beams for a construction project in the city of Łódź, Poland; totaling 332 tons of steel.
Beamline
The production of the steel beams was divided into multiple phases. Notches were cut on both sides of the IPE220 beams using the notch robot of our beamline.
Fire-resistant coating
At our facility in Emmeloord, we also applied a protective coating system to the steelwork. The structures were coated with a single-layer adhesion primer and a 30-minute fire-resistant coating.
