Collaboration with Titan Projects
Distinctive in equipment and system construction, Titan Projects is a frontrunner in the process industry. Following a successful earlier collaboration, during which we manufactured pressure equipment at Nauta Heeg for the equipment builder from Bolsward, we were once again called in to produce process vessels. In 2023, we manufactured two brine filter tanks and two air accumulators. These tanks will be used in the food industry.
After testing, the tanks were internally rubber-lined and coated with a C5-M coating system.
Production process
Manufacturing these process vessels requires a high level of precision. For assembling these constructions, we strictly adhere to the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). The tanks have a diameter of 2.5 meters and a height of 7 meters. After welding, the tanks underwent hydrostatic pressure and leak testing. Following the tests, the tanks were internally rubber-lined and finished with a C5-M coating system. The internal rubber lining provides a protective layer that helps prevent corrosion.
