Area contract Kop van Noord-Holland
The province of North Holland has outsourced the management, maintenance activities, and incident management of the waterways in the Kop van Noord-Holland through the Kop van Noord-Holland area contract. In collaboration with the Kovanoh consortium, we are working on several projects that fall under this area contract.
Braaksluis, Lutjewinkel
Nauta Heeg has been appointed to assemble, supply, and install mooring areas and fender systems on both sides of the Braaksluis in Lutjewinkel. For the mooring areas, we are fabricating 18 steel pipe piles. These are equipped with bollard arms and plastic friction elements. The 20-meter-long structures are coated for transport, and on-site, our assembly team performs height cutting of the pipe piles.
Burgemeester Visserbrug, Den Helder
Near the Burgemeester Visserbrug in Den Helder, we have completed several fender systems and mooring areas. In total, we fabricated and installed two steel fender systems (including accessories) and four mooring piles for the mooring areas on site. The mooring piles were drilled with holes using an oxy-fuel cutting process. All structures were coated at our facility in Heeg before delivery.
