Building for the future
De Groene Agri, based in Rutten, specialises in the storage and processing of agricultural products. TruSteel Construction has been appointed to rebuild the business facilities, including the cold storage and freezer facilities.
By installing the steel structure and providing the complete roof and wall cladding, we contribute to the reconstruction of the renovated business facilities. The focus is on a robust structure, high-quality finishing, and seamless coordination between the various building components.
To resume business operations as quickly as possible, the reconstruction has been carried out in phases.
A phased approach to reconstruction
To resume business operations as quickly as possible, the reconstruction has been divided into phases. The first phase focuses on the cold storage facilities, enabling them to become operational again as soon as possible. The second phase focuses on the remaining business facilities.
This approach requires careful planning and coordination between the various activities. The steel structure forms the foundation for the subsequent construction of the building, followed by the installation of the roof and wall cladding. By ensuring that the various activities are properly coordinated, we work together to deliver the project efficiently.
Combining different areas of expertise
In addition to installing the steel structure, we are responsible for the complete roof and wall cladding through Kamplacon. The project includes approximately 7,250 m² of insulated sandwich roof panels and approximately 2,275 m² of fire-resistant concrete walls. The concrete walls extend above the roofline and are fitted with mineral wool panels.
In addition, we are installing approximately 500 metres of bespoke gutter systems. These insulated gutters are designed to be walkable and are tailored to the specific requirements of the building.
