Knowledge and expertise

At Nauta Heeg, you will find all specialisms under one roof. We have a specialist engineering department. This is where we design and calculate the steel structures and ultimately translate this into precise production drawings. We use advanced 3D drawing software for that. Our qualified professionals are then able to create all concepts based on these drawings. They work on the most complex and diverse steel structures in our production halls and onsite. Our production halls are extra high and have a lifting capacity of 80 tonnes. This means we are able to manufacture heavy steel structures and components with a diameter of eleven by eleven metres.

Unique location on an open waterway

Our strategic location on an open waterway also allows us to transport larger structures by water. This means that our production site is well suited to a range of customers operating in hydraulic engineering, the offshore industry and general industry. We also have a modern fleet of vehicles for transport by road, ensuring that every structure reaches its destination quickly and professionally.

Quality, sustainability and safety form the basis of our business operations and improving the (environmental) quality of our activities and processes is something that we never lose sight of. This is demonstrated by our many certifications – ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and VCA*. These serve as proof that we take our responsibility towards the environment seriously, satisfy high standard in terms of quality management and work according to generally applicable safety procedures. Last year, we were certified Step 3 on the Safety Culture Ladder and Step 5 on the CO2 performance ladder.
