This is what we stand for

Working safely is of uppermost priority at the Trusteel Group. After a hard day’s work, we all want to get home safely. Then the next day, we want a good, healthy start. We commit to continuously improve awareness of safety within our organisation. We share knowledge, apply strict safety policies and motivate employees to be aware of the risks to their safety at all times. Where necessary, we take measures to prevent unsafe situations from occurring – we consider the safety of everyone on or around our sites crucial, whether they be colleagues, subcontractors, visitors, residents or just passers-by.

Here’s what you can expect from us

We take responsibility together. For ourselves, for one another, for everyone in the chain and in our environment. We keep to rules and agreements. We make firm agreements with one another. More importantly, we engage with one another openly, honestly and transparently. We have a duty to communicate with one another – about the things that are going well and about those that could be improved. Together, we help to create pleasant and safe working environments.

Safety Culture Ladder

We measure our safety performance using the Safety Culture Ladder. This shows the level of safety in our work when compared to the market as a whole. Last year (2023), we were certified Step 3 on the Safety Culture Ladder. This certificate shows how safety conscious we are and that we take our responsibility with regard to working safely seriously as a group. Moreover, we are determined to continue to improve our safety culture over the coming years.

Safety day and safety campaigns

The Trusteel Group organises a safety day each year, and it’s a great way to draw attention to being mindful and safe on the shop floor. It also raises awareness of safety within our business even more. The day includes workshops, speakers and an open and honest exchange about what is going well and what can be improved. By sharing our experiences, we can learn from one another and ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
