In our production hall we have been hard at work building a new type of separation system: the Dano drum. We have manufactured this for Omrin. The drum is 32 metres long and has a diameter of 4 metres. The Dano drum is an existing technology, but in this case it has been specially adapted to extract as much biomass as possible from residual household waste.

There was extensive collaboration with different divisions within the TruSteel Group on this project. Hence Kampstaal produced 130 tonnes of steps, platforms and railings for this system.
